Musings on living life in a changing world.
When I was a child I had in my mind's eye the vision of finding an ancient leather-bound book, covered in dust and cobwebs. I yearned to find this book within which would be all the answers to the tricky questions life poses to us. All the secrets of life. Of course as I experienced life I realised that there will be no such book, the answers are scattered throughout the world. Most of all it lies in my own heart and those of my fellow passengers on this ship called earth
My mind has not quite been on making supper. The beginning of the year and last year… What am I going to write in my first blog? I had supper all worked out; Coconut ginger soup with sliced chicken and crudités on the side (minus the dip). A-oh, no spices. I was so sure that I still had. My mind races through alternatives. What have I got? Pad Thai spices, deboned chicken breasts, green and yellow peppers, onions, two spring onions fresh coriander (dhania). No noodle and the rice that I have will take too long. I have risotto rice. Sacrilege…Pad Thai risotto. Well, that's what it is going to be…End result divinely delicious.
Life's like that; necessity is the mother of invention that takes you beyond the boundaries of what is exceptable, to unimaginable delights and discoveries.

Hi Sophia.... just playing here tonight.... sounds like a very nice meal.
Hey... i found the book you may have been looking for .... here are some quotes :)
“"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called”.
Be well Sophia....... mike
