Matrix
The aspect of the matrix is something I have not even mentioned because to me, it is such a basic given. But I realise now that if you are not aware of it, you might also fail to see the relevance of all else that I have discussed in my Quest for the meaning of life. There is a wonderful book by Joseph Chilion Pearce that I think everyone should read to have a basic understanding of themselves - Magical Child. I will just go over some of the basic principles.
The matrix is essentially feminine in nature. " Intelligence is the ability to interact with one's matrix. (Remember the greater world is feminine as well.) Interaction means a dynamic interchange of energy. (masculine) The design of nature is that we interact with our matrix in order to interchange our energy and possibility with that of the matrix, which automatically increases and enhances our safe place on which to stand. At conception, the human organism is microscopic, but given the safe place for growth, the vast possibilities of the huge womb world, and the energies of the mother's body to call on, that tiny organism grows at an astonishing rate. Its energy and life interchange and flow with the energy and life of its matrix and are amplified in so doing. The tiny creature gestures with its energy to its matrix, and its matrix gestures back with expanded energies. The tiny body sows a wind and reaps a whirlwind, finds itself magnified thousands of times in its own energy, possibility, and security. This interaction is the growth of intelligence and body and is the pattern our entire life should follow…
At each matrix stage, life provides that our gestures be reflected back to us by the vastly greater gestures of the matrix. The overall design is open-ended and is limited only by the individual's capacity for interaction, never by the possibilities for interaction. By its very structure, the brain's capacity for concept structuring and synthesizing can never be exhausted; and our independence and capacity of mind, designed to grow from that brain capacity, can only add to and go beyond this flexibility and freedom… The entire progression can be seen as growth or development of autonomy, both as a physical organism in the physical world and as a personality in the realm of thought. We have, in effect, only two matrices; the physical matrix, progressing from womb, mother, earth, and physical body, and the abstract matrix of thought, progressing from relationships, the ability for interaction.
This interacting ability moved through the physical matrices of womb, mother, earth, body to the abstract matrices of mind-brain with other mind-brains, mind with other minds, and finally…mind with 'mind-at-large'…Separation from any matrix is a birth process, and so we find our entire lives a series of births…"
A human child develops, physically, emotionally and mentally by moving from its matrix into the uncharted areas. You see this clearly with the young child that moves away from its mother to explore its environment, but the child moves away from the mother in ever widening circles. The child will explore for a while and then suddenly it moves back to the mother to reassure itself that the matrix is still there. Then it will explore a bit further, but only if the child feels secure that the matrix will be there. If a child goes into life without this basic security, he/she will not be able to feel confidence in themselves. They will fear rejection or become aggressive, because the basic trust is lacking. Call it the matrix of all trust.
In this the male-child is more vulnerable than the female child. " Infant monkeys were separated from mothers in childhood. The male children went through some twelve hours of frenetic searching for the mother, continually giving the distress cry of separation. After this intense stress, the male monkey child collapsed into a fetal position and went into an anaclitic depression from which he would not have survived without intervention. These male children began, after some seven or eight days, to make a slow return to some normality. Their return was only partial at best, however; they proved incapable of social interaction and were sexually impotent, withdrawn, and self-destructive. Little girl monkeys, when separated from their mothers, underwent the same intensive twelve-hour search. At the end of that time, not having found their mothers, they made an immediate return to apparent normality, with no anaclitic depression and collapse. (They later proved to be quite poor mothers and mistreated their offspring.)
Studies of human children indicate the same response … At issue is the unbonded male child or the insufficiently bonded male. His need of bonding is biologically crucial, and the biological structure resulting from insufficient bonding is warped, nonnatural biological organism. This thrust of nature simple goes haywire when unbonded, rather like a wild electron that has no orbit to give its energy organization, meaning and or purpose. There is something in the female that he must have from the beginning. Missing this, his machinery gets thrown out of balance ..." Joseph Chilion Pearce
In light of this what I have written in M&F should be clearer. For me it is always so wonderful how "As above, so below." Is reflected in every sphere of life. From a spiritual point of view the spirit incarnates to explore its potential. Is that not so wonderfully reflected in our understanding of the matrix? We live in a world where every one is searching for power, whatever their concept of power is. With this in mind it is illuminating to note that the word potential comes from the root "potent.
There is no small irony again Sophia in this reference you make for me as I
was present as a student of psychology around the Primate labs in Wisconsin
when and where the infamous referenced studies under Prof. Harry Harlow
took place.

One finding that was not developed by the author you reference was the discovery that the infants could be provide a *surrogate* mother.
BTW, yes these experiments were bizarre and incurred the wrath of animal rights groups with god reason but that is a separate discussion.
The point is that mom could be substituted for both male and female infants by using technology. They wrapped a wire cage doll with soft cloth and put a light bulb inside that kept the object that the infants could cling to warm and provided a nipple where the infants could suckle and the aberrant behavioral results were remarkably reduced.
Ironically the needs of the infant were proven by this methodology, however the importance of the mother was diminished, as well as many *specific* aspects of the social interaction between parent and child.
In fact for much of the developmental psychology it was determined that peer group interactivity was more important than having or not having a parent. The results of those experiments are still controversial and still very subject to interpretation.
I fear the importance of these findings on a technologically dependent society are not lost as they appear to be making parenting obsolete in favor of mechanistic top down constructs of a global technocracy.
The responsibility and choices of parents are being further and further restricted and in a sense we find ourselves converted to effigies of ourselves held accountable if we deviate from the accepted doctrines.
As parents are finding their choices restricted and children are granted preeminent power they neither deserve or can manage who is actually benefiting from this action?
And what are the consequences?
Could this trend be contributing to the accelerating trends toward extreme Social Darwinism that is spreading across the world like a tsunami?

Just stunbled onto this site and already feel at home. Hello every one. I
recently saw the monkey torture tape on SBS and I cried with frustration at
the sick experiments by an example of pure evil on behalf of this Dr who's
name doesn't deserve a mention in my book. His vibe doesn't fit in here.
These experiments i intuit were also conducted by this monster on children
and it is rumored that his own daughter was one of the first.
If anything can be discerned from the torture it was how the dark cabal was
learning how to give humanity its surrogate mother in replace of our true
godess and disempower us. Civilisation is the male engineered yang
erection that has layered itself over the goddesses influence, mother
nature, Gia. A human could not andwould not need to conduct such
experiments if they were not already social spastic from their own false
attchment to a mechanical mum. Yep, civilisation is our mechanical mum,
The Morph is our real mum.....

Welcome Josh! Yes, experiments such as those described are something, one
would hope would rather have come from just pure observation of nature and
humanity, rather than having to set up experiments. Perhaps it is a good
example of how cold the intillect can be if it is not used in combination
with our empathetic qualities.
Hello Sophia, yes i know i can only divide it with my intelect into black
and white but my heart truly aches when I witness the mal-treatment of my
brothers and sisters, monkeys or humans or whatever. The playground is all
that exists when we own our own shadow, I guess i am still healing mine so
I am tempted to divide the whole into duality when in truth all things are
perfect and karmicaly balnced.
You are beautiful and I love you deeply is what my soul sings to you with
truth. And it is not a love tarnished by the fraelties of human emotion
for within you i see me in a strange kind of way. I mean it, shyness is
for the players, i am just a witness, humble in my service to the pulsing
of the light and not in need of your love in return because i already have
it. You are standing in the same divine playground as I so in reality Our
true love go's unsaid, but today i anounce it anyway. And I feel this way
about all of you, cold and warm who stand in world. Some of you see the
Playground beyound time and some do not but if I become authentic I have no
volition other then to love you all from my heart. The Ark is within us
and in that playground we see life as it is perfect. I choose to love the
dark and the light because i am also dark and light. The darkness I express
is my human weakness, and the light i express is my spiritual weakness.
From this springboard a new syntax is our Ark. It is wordless and
undefinable-it is much too big for the small oxes of reason. We are there,
